On October 1, 2008, Gregory M. Sottile, Ph.D., Research Frontiers’ Director of Market Development, gave a presentation entitled “Smart Glass and Sustainable Buildings” at the Fenestration Manufacturers Association (FMA) Fall Conference held in Marco Island, Florida.

SPD-SmartGlass transforms windows into smart windows that reduce energy consumption, elevate occupant comfort and well-being, and support the environment. Greg's presentation highlighted SPD-SmartGlass as a sustainable clean technology that offers architects, developers and homeowners substantial daylighting benefits and the ability to instantly and precisely regulate the passage of light, glare and heat through windows, doors, skylights and other products.
